Texas Health Huguley Hospital
Having experienced a large increase of patients needing emergency care, the Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Burleson recently completed a $75 million expansion project to its medical campus. The growth includes a new five-story, 116,000 square-foot patient tower that doubles the size of the emergency room and ambulance bays and includes an enhanced cardiovascular and medical intensive care unit, two floors of shelled space for future growth, and a new dining room.
“As we planned for this new tower, we considered the needs of our growing community. The added space and technology, coupled with our team’s dedication to delivering exceptional and compassionate care, ensures that patients get the care they need close to home,” said Penny Johnson, President and CEO of Texas Health Huguley.
Continuing their longstanding relationship, the hospital tapped The Beck Group to drive construction of this new project. The new facility needed to complement the existing tower that the team had completed in 2016. KSC fabricated and installed over 27,000 square feet of custom, fire-resistant core aluminum composite panels and utilized the KSC 3000 system in the façade of the new building to bring this design to life.
The project was delivered on-time and within budget resulting in an advanced, functional health-care facility that the community needed.
