Parish Episcopal Performing Arts Center
After acquiring a former corporate office campus in the early 2000s, the Parish Episcopal School’s Midway Campus is now home to a state-of-the-art performing arts center worthy of its award-winning theatre and performing arts programs. Housing nearly 1,200 students ranging in ages from K-12, the Noble Family Performing Arts Center was crafted to host student performances, awards ceremonies and both community and cultural events.
Being tasked with keeping the existing style throughout the campus while still showcasing innovation and prestige, BOKA Powell and McCarthy Building Companies put together a performance hall complete with seating for 600, a balcony, rehearsal rooms, a film screening room, a dance studio, a gallery hall to display students’ visual art, and a lobby to welcome guests. “At the Noble Family Performing Arts Center, Parish will highlight student performances in a venue worthy of their talents, celebrate community milestones, and showcase artists and speakers to broaden our students’ understanding of the global society,” said Dave Monaco, Allen Meyer Family Head of School for Parish Episcopal School. “The potential in this new edifice will far exceed its walls, because it will cultivate limitless possibilities for young people of impact.”
KSC utilized over 12,500 SF of fire-resistance core ACM to line the exterior wall of the building and create a unique architectural facade to match the level of creativity found from within.
