Looking to undergo a major expansion to its corporate office, national tax consultant firm KE Andrews tasked BOKA Powell and Rogers O’Brien Construction with a next-generation, build-to-suit 80,000 SF campus-style facility in Rockwall, Texas. The modern, four-story building sits on 10 acres overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard and offers employees unmatched amenities including a large kitchen, fitness center, and walking trails.
From the beginning, the KSC project management, virtual design, and construction teams worked together to prepare the submittal documents as the building called for many surfaces in a variety of finishes. Upon review and approval by our project partners, our engineers were deployed to conduct 3D Scanning & BIM of the site to create files for multiple CNC machines to fabricate the appropriate ACM panels and custom woodgrain sunscreen that serve as the focal point above the main entrance to the building.
Having previously worked with both BOKA Powell and Rogers O’Brien Construction on multiple projects allowed for an easy and methodical installation schedule for the 6,500+ SF of ACM, aluminum extrusions, and woodgrain metal throughout the project.
