Grandscape

The Colony, Texas

As one of the largest and most unique mixed-use real estate developments in the country, Grandscape is a new kind of shopping mall destination designed to bring people together through dining experiences, entertainment, games, luxury apartment homes, and office spaces. This state-of-the-art complex occupies over 400 acres, located directly off the Sam Rayburn Tollway in The Colony, Texas. Manicured outdoor spaces, a stage, and a programmed “lawnscape” with live music and digital art displays were included as part of the more than three million square feet of amenities.

KSC partnered with both VCC Construction and Merriman Anderson Architects to implement ALPOLIC ACM, MBCI sheet metal decorative outdoor wall panels, and Longboard wood grain metal exteriors, creating stunning exterior façade with innovative architectural metal fabrication.

Since this project was multi-faceted, the KSC team had to treat each stage as its own individual project, and adhered to a unique schedule. Weekly meetings with all of the different trade and project managers resulted in multiple deployments of KSC crews. While the project was challenging, KSC’s willingness to satisfy the client resulted in a beautiful project that surpassed expectations.
