700 River – In Process
700 River is redefining Austin’s Rainey Street District with an iconic 43-story addition to the downtown skyline. This 400,000-square-foot tower, featuring 377 luxury apartments and 3,400 square feet of ground-floor retail, merges upscale urban living with accessible community amenities. With outdoor terraces and over 17,000 square feet of resident-focused spaces, 700 River elevates the area’s profile, offering a modern take on Austin’s cultural identity. Designed by HKS Architects, the project embraces innovative design that harmonizes with Austin’s cultural landscape, showcasing a forward-thinking approach to downtown living while prioritizing community connection.
To meet the requirements of this multifamily high-rise, KSC partnered with Trammell Crow Company and DPR Construction to provide design assistance, 3D scanning & BIM, custom fabrication, and installation. By utilizing over 56,300 SF of aluminum composite materials and perforated aluminum plate, KSC crafted a metal façade system to align seamlessly with the project’s aesthetic and structural vision. To maintain the project’s architectural integrity, promote sustainable design, and ensure high quality, the KSC 3000 system was the ideal choice for this project.
With a strong focus on detail and effective project management, KSC’s work plays an integral role in advancing 700 River toward completion. This project is set to become a transformative landmark in Austin’s Rainey Street District, showcasing a blend of architectural sophistication and sustainable urban living.
