Farmer Brothers Headquarters

When coffee service company Farmer Brothers moved from California to Texas, KSC was called in late in the game to design, fabricate, and install a metal panel system for their new headquarters and help meet a highly accelerated move-in date.

One challenge imposed by this very tight deadline was the availability of some of the materials called for in the design renderings. Another was the integration of multiple systems in a relatively small area, which demanded crucial alignment with joinery and the lining up of a variety of parts.

As a time- and money-saving alternative to the unavailable materials, KSC proposed fabricating everything from materials on hand, integrating sheet metal panels, two Trespa systems, and Aluminum Composite Material to create a seamless transition between glass and panels and, in the end, fabricating and installing every part of the facade except for the tilt wall and glass.
